Love the warm colors and splashes of gold on the second one. Also seems more balanced. Thank you for sharing both and explaining about your process. As a new person to mixed media it's much appreciated!

Hello Karen. I like both, but I really like the reds, yellows and oranges. That one just pops out and says what your sentiment is saying. ( I hope that makes sense). Joy Joy Joy... 🤗

I liked the black grid in the background of the first design. I like the dotted outlines. I preferred the thinner outlines in white. I don't like the way the sentiment seems slapped on rather than really integrated into the design. (I have a bias for die-cut sentiments for this reason.) I like the second backgound and the pen work. The sentiment is better integrated (if a bit redundant).
