You know, even if you don’t get the grant, start using this publicity right now to see if you can solicit major donors to the program to keep it going another year. You guys can capitalize on the best assets you’ve got - your kids, and social media - and maybe get some folks to give. I think this is an important program for kids, parents, and police to develop community ties early. And I am totally loving the vibrancy of those watercolor markers. Swoon! 😍 What a great card. You’ve inspired me to pull out my watercolor markers and give it another shot.

Hi Kelly, it's been a while. I'll try to keep this short. A situation came up and I had to take a break from crafting. Then on 5-23-19 I was in a bad car wreck, left me with both ankles broke and some internal injuries. I'm just now getting back to learning how to walk again and trying to catch up on everyone's videos. You are still just as amazing as always. Looking forward to all your videos

Gorgeous card! I love the messy watercolor look but I'm kind of a perfectionist too and want to stay in the lines! It might be kind of hard to let that kind of free flowing watercolor out of me!!! Watched the TV segment and you did not look the least bit nervous! I sure hope you get something going that will allow you guys to continue the programs!!

The alcohol ink over the 'messy' watercolouring is gorgeous. It makes the watercolour outside of the lines look more like a halo than messy watercolouring. I fully agree, too, about the watercolour paper. I'm surprised, though, how well the alcohol markers work on that paper since they usually need their own type of absorption resistant paper. I'm developing quite the paper stash for colouring in different mediums. I am definitely going to need to try this technique with watercolour markers and alcohol ink markers I have (and maybe a few different types of watercolour paper, too).

Oh... I had my doubts about this card when it was just the water coloring but the additional markers really topped it off. I don’t know why I doubted it! I love your nail color! Your Instagram fish saga has me sad and in stitches at the same time. Next time you need to be on tv perhaps they could film it at Dunkin so you would be more comfortable?

Ooo - I love coloring larger flower images. Your card is so pretty. My mouth is a big O right now.....I didn’t know you could use alcohol markers with water...... I worked at a police department many years ago. Other than being an officer, I can’t think of any other job that would cause more anxiety than being the dispatcher! Following and directing many units in a critical situation would be so nerve wracking! I liked the card, but I might put myself into preferring the “less messy/organic” look overall. But....if I received one like that...I’d be over the moon! 😄

I like your card but probably would not do it myself. I'm useless at watercolour to begin with and not s fan of the messy look. However as you keep telling us - it's ok to have personal poo references. I love the colours though. Congratulations on your two minutes of fame. Well done.
