You can tell that womans 'opinion' comes from a place of hate and bitterness. She didnt want to listen to the person who is actually mixed race and kept rudely interupting. The other 2 women had their opinons but also had an open mind and actually gave the man the respect of actually listening to him 💯

The key word in your take is “open minded” the biggest difference between a sane person and a fool 😂. Well said anyway.

It Is confusing , but It makes you strong. Africans tell me I am Only Indian or Arab and Indian people and white people tell me I am pure African. You can never win being mixed. You just have to be strong.
@southernsunrise203711 күн бұрын
Dont mean to hate or trivialize your experience , but you actually look very Indian to me and im White and Black American , I dont see any African in you besides the nose SLIGHTLY. But your nose still looks more Indian . I dont think most Americans would regard you as Black if they had to see you walking on the street. Guyanese or Dominican AT MOST.

She's ridiculously stupid but, that quote from him lead her to say that stupidly... Plight?. Hahaha. I'm mixed race Nigerian and I'm crying with laughter.. You are what you get treated as. Not one person ever told me to go back to mixed race land.. I was called the same racist names as my dark skinned cousins. N word blah blah.. There was no distinction. Couldn't decide to be white one day, then black the other.. hahaha. Imagine having that choice..

This woman is an embarrassment. After all the hate and distain we get as black people she dares speak to this man with such igborance and disgust. The way she is cutting the man off and explaining to him his own reality. As for the rest of them they need to do better and challnge these behaviours firmly. Come like they are all shook of her or something.
@R-LOG54620 күн бұрын
Highly childish, bitter and delusional opinion from that woman tbh. If a mixed person embraces both cultures and is happy with who they are inside thats all that matters. Worry about yourself!! Whoever that host is needs to educate herself and become humble. The world needs more love and togetherness especially in these current times kmt. This pod ting aint for everyone lol

Im mixed. Mainly black Caribbean upbringing, though born and raised in italy, moving to the UK at a young age. I have no problem identifying my identity. Im a mixed-race italian. I am proud to be both black and Italian regardless of living in the UK, i'll never forget or regret who i am. Either side. I'm happy to have both backgrounds. Miss, before speaking on the majority, hone in on the minor details that may affect these "facts" you state. As in, single parent childhoods, and many other reasons as to why some mixed people have trouble with their identity.

Ignorance as usual. People of mixed heritage are not a monolith. Our fellow darker toned folk should understand this statement more than anyone, so don't go being hypocritical. Colorism amongst our own kind sets us so far back it's unreal. Highly disappointing. All this smoke for the fairer skinned, yet mostly screaming Malcolm X!? You want to read up on him, and the "many shades of black" 👍🏽

The sister was wrong how she addressed the brother. You cannot dictate who and what he is based on your perception of the world. If this was flipped, the sisters would be up in arms. I believe that the brother handled this well despite being ridiculed the entire time.

We were all 5 yrs old at one point and we forgot how to look beyond colour,we have no excuse for being this way other than being played by the media,if we read more and look within ourselves to understand that we are really are more than what we are led to believe.we now have plenty of access to information we could not get access to 30 years ago but we are still having conversations we had back then,and probably our great grandparents to,reset your mindset for 2025 and look for more understanding like a 5 yr old in a multicultural setting.

African and Carribean are the same race. So you wouldn't be mixed race, just different nationalities. There's a difference to it.
@KBTheMillennial19 күн бұрын
The term is Afro-Carib and yes, potentially that person could be mixed. It depends where the parents and other family members are specifically from.
@KBTheMillennial19 күн бұрын
@@matt7matt722I see where you’re going, but let’s say someone is Angolan and Trini - they would still be an Afro-Carib but also potentially mixed race! Such a person could be African /Portuguese/Caribbean/Indian all in one - that’s not a black person! My son for example, is also Afro-Carib but his mother has French and other races in her dna. My son looks like a brown skin black boy, but technically, he’s mixed race. So, it’s not to easy to pin point on this, is all I’m saying….
