Another great video! I have nothing but respect for unselfishly releasing big fish, I would not argue a law change with a max size we are aloud to keep, a photo of ya monsters is all you need and them 40-50cm best eating anyway. Keep up the good work mate!

Hiya Ron loving your vids mate very inspiring. Im keen to give the kayak fishing a go, been looking at a few vessels on the net / trade me, can you give me some advice please or point me in the right direction ... I like the look of your kayak and set up especially the higher seating as Im not very flexible. Im early 50's, 6.1 and currently 115kg and hoping not to get any bigger lol.

How does the slow j compare to the gan jig?
@NZkayakfishing
@NZkayakfishing 3 жыл бұрын
Good question the slow jay was a wicked performer before the gan jig arrived and with the new 40g size slow jay have to say they are both deadly. The action on the slow jay is certainly more fluttery and suits the slow pitch technique better but wont be giving up on the gan either. Will have a rod setup with each ready to fish cheers

@@darryl_mitchell yes its one of my main setups in both spin and overhead style. These rods are amazing and are awesome for light jigs 10g right up to 150g so offer a huge range which is awesome
