Ah Justin you legend! Thank you for doing this one. Loved your take on it. Yep this is a band to keep an eye on… i feel like these guys are one of the few bands out there today, making standard kickass rock. I see far more potential here than in most newer bands on the circuit.. cheers Justin🤘🏼

I met these lads (and their parents actually) at a party in Hamburg - incredibly down to earth bunch and super nice. I had no idea they even had such a big following, but good to see and well deserved!

Amazing! Thanks for doing this and for the exposure 🤘🏻 It was really cool to see the analysis of a song I love through your perspective. I’m sure everyone will be talking about them soon... That was great, thanks for giving them a spotlight! I can’t agree on writers for bands though. It’s not that bands sound with 20 writers credited on an album. Writers can go form their own bands if they are that good. Old School. 🤘🤨🎸

I hope this band heeds your advice, Justin, because you're spot on! I'm really looking forward to hearing what they do in the future. It takes a minute to develop your own sound, but it's a great day when you realise you've achieved it, when you become more than the sum of your influences. Young men with long hair always make me happy!

Mix sounds alright, singer is good, but i feel like there's no real hit chorus there. Says the one that haven't written a single hit in his life, but the potential is there for sure. Rock on!

I’ve been following them for years and that has been my take too. Wonderful musicians, great looks, amazing covers. They have very clear influences that have allowed them to explore and improve their talents, they just need to find their own voice. I hope they can find their own version of butch vig to unlock everything they have to offer.

I'm probably as bad requesting you check out 15 yr old Taj Farrant. He was 9 and 10 when he played with Orianthi, Carlos Santana, and Rob Thomas. This past year since he and his family moved from Australia to the US he's played Purple Rain with Prince's band NPG at the 40th anniversary celebration of the release of Purple Rain, Eric Gales, Christone Kingfish Ingram and Buddy Guy. He is a performer on Joe Bonamassa's blues cruise in March, played at some big blues festivals, released his first album Chapter One. It was #1 on iTunes worldwide blues charts and #2 on Billboard Blues charts. Taj is known for his guitar playing. He's been singing and since his voice change it's been a bit gritty and great for the blues. He had six songs on the album hit #1 on iTunes. Bad Trip, Cruz, House Always Wins, I Give Up, Mumma Raised a Man and Crossroads. Fan favorites are Mumma Raised a Man, Bad Trip, and Freight Train along with his rendition of Gary Moore's Parisienne Walkways and Stevie Ray Vaughn's The Sky is Crying and of course Purple Rain. Taj is just fun to watch.

"Normality” is the better choice. Thanks for checking it out. Spittle? 😂 Are you taking the piss out of them? They sound like another band here, but I can’t remember who (it’s too early for that synapse to fire). 10:45 😂 I spent far too much time trying to locate the place where you and Desiree were all dressed up. My original guess was Italy. I looked at so many fancy hotels, palaces, and cathedrals. Where were you?

Justin, they have three albums of original songs now. The last one dropped in 2024. I haven’t heard their covers. Someone in your comment section recommended this song, and I went to iTunes and listened to their newest album. The 2021 album (and 2017) also have some good songs.

Quick request: Idk if guitar alone reactions is of interest to you, but if so, I'd love to see your reaction and brake down of "guitar solos with the dooo but it's on the new guitar" and one of his "omegal" videos perhaps? It's something slightly different than what I've seen up to yet on your channel, and I'd love to hear your opinion of his technical abilities and (if you'd be willing) your opinoin on if his skill is out of reach for the average person who wants to pick up a guitar and learn how to play, with hopes of being able to play like him one day 😅...

This is middle-of-the-road rock music, it’s fine. Not at all amazing to me, but I am glad people like it. I like rock bands and want this style of music to persist, generally. I think they’re very cute young men and so they will be very, very successful. Music has become ever-more about fashion and physical attractiveness first, above the music, and it saddens me. I wish them the best, because oh my gosh, they’re in the comments. No offense, gents!

Have you ever considered doing A&R consulting? Your advise is spot on - hire talented studio experts (AFTER the band has written GREAT songs) along with recording real dynamics without compression and not wearing the band's influences so obviously on its sleeve; but, especially your observation of how the band's songwriting is not ready for prime time: If a band is serious about its music, the band must at least learn how to go through the iterative versioning process with songwriting while doing co-writes with professional songwriters who have recent and relevant experience. Sadly, pride disables the overwhelming majority of bands as they never take this advise while they get older and fade into obscurity.
