So Snow relates 2 her bc she doesnt look mexican but here in the US they say she dont look american so she feels awkward and like she dont fit in - just like India Maria in her shows *Drinking Modelo u wont catch Corona is funny ah bc theyre both mexican beers but also shes saying which is a double entendre that drinking Modelo beer u wont catch covid lol 😂 which i never heard that drinking anything but nothing will help u from catching something especially drinking beer lol 😂

The problem sometimes with translating from either english 2 spanish or vice versa is theres 2 ways ive found people do it. 1 is if u speak spanish/english u read the words and directly translate em. But with both languages theres A LOTTTTT of slang. I took spanish n high school so i learned how 2 read, write and speak. However when i was around hispanic (mainly a mexican dialect) i was totally lost having convos with em. The words they use isnt taught and sometimes isnt even translatable in google translate. So now i have 3 kids with their fathers being mexican im almost 41 and my kids r 21, 18 and 14. Right now i dont use hardly any of the spanish i learned in school tbh. The way we r taught is the grammatically correct ways of their language but 2 actually have a convo with them like perfect example: i learned in school yo lavo mis pantelones = i wash my pants 🤦 if i said that 2day id get laughed at. They use different words that i did learn in school but not in the context that they use in everyday life. Snow is 100% mexican but she was born here. So her spanish is what she learned from her parents (her mom is still learning english if u watch her live podcast she translates things all the time 4 her mom). But 2 say that i wash my pants theyd look at me like ok and...so its either 4 them i washed or im washing. Which im washing is estoy lavando mis pantelones or ya lave mis pantelones which is i washed my pants. Its so hard 2 just listen 2 the words n im sorry tbh theres never a perfect translation bc its all about interpretation based on what part of Mexico (if its a mexican dialect that is) the person ur talking 2 uses. Bc Cubas spanish is different, Puerto Rico spanish is different, Spain is different, etc. But where my kids dads r from (yes they have 3 different dads and no im not proud of that by no means but married and divorced 2 of them and each were long-term relationships at least 4 yrs almost each 😞), but theyre all from different states in Mexico. So the dialect is different but i never wanna come off as bossy or rude im just explaining that 2 translate a song it just needs 2 be understood like the slang from where the persons from. 🙂💜❄ all luv over here im sorry just putting in my opinion and trying 2 help others understand that translating from 1 language 2 another isnt easy and how she goes from 1 to the other without skipping a beat is just awesome!!!
