He talks about some of the things she might have had done with the possibility of things as simple as Botox, fillers and neck tightening up to a nose job and possible jaw implant/lift. I feel whatever about getting those done, just don’t lie about it. Who cares if you had a nose job or Botox/fillers? Just don’t try and tell me you look that way without them or tell me if I buy your line of products I can look like you.

Filter=borderline false advertising If you're trying to promote a skin care line. Not only does she get a filter on a video, but she also gets an additional amount of medical support for the way she looks. Average people don't think about that.

Susan I totally agree about the "aging is scary". I am in my mid 40s now and my focus was usually just about the face and exterior for decades but now I really have to refocus. There is just so much actual important stuff to take care of for the body and mind. Whatever you can do to find those moments of "rituals" or "affirmations" really do make a difference. Whatever keeps you going and focused!

Naturium should make a luxuriously hydrating fragrance-free, sulphate-free anti-dandruff shampoo. There is hardly any good haircare that targets dandruff except Nizoral, Tgel and Vanicream. None of them are cruelty free. Hair needs some love too.

What she means for the sleep is that there is allegedly some scientifical evidense in finding your own sleep amount windows depending on REM cycles. So it might be more beneficial to sleep under 4h or more than 7h instead of 6 for her as she will feel less rested and her face drops... im wondering if she still sleeps 6h or chooses to sleep under 4h if the 7+window cannot be met...who knows:)

I love that the skincare reactions are back! I am a huge JLo fan, but I really don't appreciate someone promoting a skincare line with a filter on. I wish she was a bit more honest. I agree with you in terms of her lacking confidence. She was posting photos with full make-up on by the pool during the pandemic, which made no sense to me. I am actually surprised by her being insecure about her looks. She looks great and has achieved so much, you'd think she is very confident about herself!

The whole sleep thing- i understood the complete opposite as Susan, i think JLo meant that your face/skin looks terrible if you undersleep (less than 4 hours), or if you oversleep (more than 7 hours), which I can understand because my face looks super puffy if i oversleep.

I also understand that completely,for instance in college when I would be studying for exams if I slept under 3 hours I would feel worse than not sleeping at all,and I have to sleep more than 7,so I get what she meant,I don't know why everyone got so upset at that😅

She works for an industry that DEVALUES women as they get older. The truth is almost everyone uses filters on social media. We ALL choose how we want to present ourselves on social, we pick the best angle, the right filter etc. So, to expect celebrities to show us their raw unfiltered selfs is highly unrealistic.

Mayonnaise in the hair is actually a great mask, but leaving it for three hours under a shower cap is actually an amazing and cheap lice treatment so long as you don't have a severe case or incredibly thick hair. My brother kept bringing lice home in 1st grade, until the third month when my mom got annoyed and shaved his head. Everyone kept using the medicated shampoo, whereas I decided to try the mayo kick our PCM recommended. It killed them, and I never got them again, plus my hair looked amazing when it was all over. I was doing a mask every weekend. You just have to use a real mayo, not something fake like Miracle Whip.

I have recommended her skin care line to people and even though they were skeptical, they ended up loving it! I do wish the prices for it were better, but they are truly good products. Who know if she uses them every day, but I am glad she has a great skin line that delivers!

I read that physical sunscreens, like titanium and zinc oxide types, go on last. But that chemical sunscreens go first, so that may absorb into the skin. I use one by Neutragena. The physical type leave a white cast on my face.

I’ve heard many say that chemical sunscreens can/should go on before additional moisturizers since chemical sunscreens need to absorb into the skin to be affective. But mineral sunscreens should go on after moisturizers since it sits ON the skin to be effective. Thoughts?

I heard that eye drops make you look two years younger and I used to put them in my eyes all the time as a makeup routine. One time I accidentally put crazy glue in my eye because I just went to grab where I put my eye drops in the door and it was crazy glue for some reason. It took out almost all my eyelashes on one eye several years ago. It was the reason I stopped using eye drops everyday

I’ve seen a lot of girls that use the Lumify eye drops before they do their makeup everyday. Those drops work differently then brands like Visine. I like Lumify not necessarily to get rid of the redness but to make my eyes less yellow and more bright and white. It just makes you look fresher and healthier. Those eye drops really are the best and they’re safer to use everyday.

I feel like her using a filter is part of the reason women still get flack about needing to look young when they age, like you are constantly making it look like you are young but in a fake/false sort of way and as a celebrity that kind of becomes a standard instead of showing the world you have beautiful skin and you are happy with it as you age. Maybe it's not perfect but no one's skin is. I think this perpetuates societal normalizing of looking young even when you are like 60+

I love her so much. Imagine how crucified she would be if she came on with no makeup and no filter. I know it’s a little misleading but it would be extremely vulnerable for her to do so and like you were saying back in the day we never saw celebrities without makeup.
