I can't stand topuria while he's a great fighter but he got lucky by avoiding max like every contender before him and fighting a 35 yo volk 3 month after a brutal head kick ko and I'm not saying he didn't deserve the opportunity but denying volk the rematch after giving him the opportunity and saying that max should accept his rules to fight him and talking about his legacy is beyond arrogant especially when max and volk never denied any contender including topuria himself while both are legends and could do whatever they like so i can't wait for max to humble him putting him in his place

@@GengoSenmon illia is very good, but styles make fights when illia fought a tall lanky guy he got dropped bad by Herbert, with a nasty head kick, props to illia for showing his heart and getting up and finishing that fight, but my point is I think taller guys with good striking will be an issue for the smaller guy ALWAYS. It’ll be great fights in my opinion, but if illia stops max, he’ll prove to be better than even we expected.

To a degree, all fighters are delusional, we often see this when they talk trash and say some out there comments. That's why I think Cruz's shit talk was so stinging for fighters. He had very calm and often correct takes against his opponents, things they couldn't easily shrug off and it left them feeling embarrassed
