I was in Florence, CO. I stood on a rise overlooking the prison. I was headed to go get some coffee and a pastry and then headed down the road. The sensation of freedom was so intense and felt so good.

I wish they wouldn't use computer generated voices because a lot of times the computer can't pronounce simple phrases or words like DEA AGENT which was missed pronounced. If you run it back to 3:22 it will give you a second or two and then you will hear the miss pronunciation of DEA AGENT to dea ah gant (No I didn't misspell it, that's the way it was pronounced). The worst way I've ever heard of drugs being smuggled in was inside of people who died but I can't remember who did that ? It might have been Pablo Escobar or Griselda Blanco. I know people are gonna mention Frank Lucas but he didn't have it put inside of the body, he had it put it inside of the casket of the soldiers which is bad enough. It's called supply and demand, people demand it and cartels supply it. The drug business is the worst business anybody can get into. You're always looking over your shoulder, someone is always thinking or trying to take your spot and it's just plain dangerous. Even your bodyguards are looking to take your spot but the worst thing that can happen is you can end up in a place like the ADX !

There are prison way worse. So overcrowded, you have to stand much of the time. No where to defecate, so the stench is horrible. ~~ I read on some of the horrible tortures El Chapo would authorize, so I have zero sympathy for his whining. Even the warden said that the ADX SUPERMAX is a clean version of hell. I've seen a lot of documentaries on the ADX and I don't know how everybody doesn't lose their minds there. That prison was built with Terrible Tom Silverstein in mind because he met the criteria of someone who couldn't be held in a regular prison but this place is actually hell on earth..

That prison is a resort compared to the prisons in Russian areas of Siberia. They are there till the end of their life with no visitation or communication of any kind with the outside world. Only Bread and soup only. El Chapo is better off where he is.

The ADX supermax is kinda like guantanamo.....it maybe a lot cleaner and there isn't the violence you get when you're all mixed in together but it's similar to hannibal letters cage. You're deprived of everything which makes a man go slowly insane. Guns pointed at your head constantly....no views,no one to talk to,shackled....23 hour solitary. It is hell....the only thing Pablo escobar feared was an American jail...cos he knew it would be one like this. I've read about the Bangkok hilton and that's hell too but a man with el chaos influence could thrive in an environment like that. I nearly ended up in jail in Vietnam which wouldn't have been pleasant...thank god I made it home
