sounds really fantastic. it's amazing what you can do these days with an apollo, some nice mics, a room and a set of great musicians. really great job from all involved.

I have an Apollo Twin X and x8p as my studio rig and I absolutely love this combo. A big bang for the buck and the sound quality is superb!

Nice… I’d lower the snare just a little bit. But it's just my opinion, because overall, everything is wonderful !! Beautiful song, beautiful singer.

The drums were a little to forward IMO, especially the snare. That said, this was a really helpful demo; thanks!

GOOD HELL! Is that an AKG 414? That surprised the hell outta me. First thing I thought as..there's no way that's an XLII. Looks a bit different ...but besides that... I owned one and it sounded NOTHING like this. It was horrible and thin for high male vocals and females. Boxy in the mid range even. But THIS...THIS model sounds AMAZING! It worked like a dream. I sang through a TLII back in the day..going through ...something like a Neve ...or perhaps a 737 pre...I can't remember it's been so long ago but it turned pretty damn out good. That was the only 414 model I've ever heard and liked other than this...assuming I called this one right. Some of the models over the years have been pretty diverse with the sound signature they get. This is stunningly clean, clear and transparent sounding. Ideal...really. Bought an Apollo yesterday...coming Tuesday. wish me luck.

Is it good for a home studio setup? I have built a pro recording booth, having a rode nt-2a mic, was planning to buy an Audient id14 as interface but thought to buy this one. Will it be a good choice ?? Also how does this bring quality while mixing tracks ?

I’m about to pull the trigger and buy the Apollo interface But the issue and reason I’m asking Is in order for my PC to accept thunderbolt I’m going to need to upgrade the motherboard I just want to know if I should pull the trigger on the twin duo (USB) for Windows Or get the Apollo twin x ( thunderbolt) (Because there both the same price point ) N wait till I can upgrade my PC I wish to know if the upgrade is worth the time I’d be waiting Since I’ve heard the converters are better and pre amps are better I’ve also heard low end is more controlled But I’m going around asking

Do you think it would be possible to get a similar Vocal-Sound out of a Shure SM7B or does it roll of the air frequencies to soon? Im trying to figure out if I should buy one and this is the Vocal-Sound I'm looking for.
