Hi, how did you do this without any EQ (except the high pass filter a a little bit of air on the high frequencies)? This is the first time I see something like this. I wish I could have the same quality recordings. :)

Glad you liked the video! There's this misconception with some producers that you have to pile on loads of plugins and tweak every frequency. But for me, it's all about adding that sweet character with some harmonic distortion and using plugins like Decapitator from SoundToys or a good Pultec plugin. It’s important to start trusting your ears! 🎶

Good information/suggestions here. However, it would be so much more useful if you used all Studio One plugins. Not everyone has all those third party plugs. But... thanks.

Hey Albert! Thanks a bunch for your comment! That's such a great point you've made. I'm totally gonna keep it in mind for my future videos. I'm thinking of doing some where I only use stock plugins, just like you suggested. Your feedback means a lot to me, so thanks again! 😄

Hold up.. if you think about it, all EQ plugins do the same thing as all compressors. If it's a stock or 2nd, 3rd party plugins. Everyone has their favorite or go to plugin. Doesn't matter, in my opinion.

@@terrytimberlake8926 I realize that's your opinion. But I don't think it's correct. If it were, there would be no need for 3rd party plugins. Engineers would own only one e.q. and one compressor. That is, if they really all do exactly the same thing.

@AlbertNorris hold up.. respectfully. Remember if it wasn't for steinberg. Vst wouldn't be, but after that, everybody else jumped on the band wagon. He'll people have designed programs to make your own vst..
