I buy the pigeon pox from Global. Get the pigeon pox if possible.

Hi Frank, as breeding season is coming in fast. Vaccine brands…what do you recommend? Which ones to stay away from? Since some of the well known pigeon stores are running out some of vaccines and other stores not so well known has them I just want to make sure im getting the right stuff. Hi John, I do not think it matters very much. I buy different brands and different combinations each year. I feel that in case one is better than the other my birds will get a good vaccine every year. I have had great luck with all the companies vaccines.

Hi Maurice, I pox the babies at weaning. It takes about ten days for the vaccine to kick in so the babies are already eating and drinking and not stressed at this point. I mix up a little at a time and wean my babies in groups. I put the pox vaccine back in the fridge and will use the same mixed vaccine for a few weeks before I mix a new batch. I pox and PMV the babies at the same time. Right at weaning is best.

Yes, I vaccinate every baby at weaning for PMV and Pox.
