00:00 - KASTLE Kastle, born Barrett Richards, debuted seven years ago and captures influences of grime, hip-hop, dubstep and jungle in his sound. He also serves as a tastemaker behind his label Symbols, but most recently, put aside his A&R hat to focus on his second studio album 'Reflections', which released on October 14.

52:44 - DAEDELUS Alfred Darlington is Daedelus, a Los Angeles-based producer that has seen his nearly two decade long career see major releases on the likes of Ninja Tune, Anticon and most recently, Brainfeeder. Daedelus joins us in The Lab LA on the same day as the release (October 28) of his full-length 'Labyrinths', which will also serve as the producer's first self-release on his imprint Magical Properties.

Daedalus embarassed Kastle. Kastle was uselessly turning buttons and everything Daedelus does has meaning. They should never be put together
@chackporris8936 жыл бұрын
I don´t get the point of all this crap ...let me see, so the thing is that he moves his fingers and hands so fast and push many button in less than a sec wearing Napoleon carnaval suit while he dances like a jerk....ok fine , and the music?......(between all this circus there is guy triying to be a dee jay and all pressing button too ..woow , fantastic crap)
@flawless_karma17026 жыл бұрын
Why are you here if you don't enjoy the music? Also watch a video where they start from scratch. You think it's as easy as pushing a few buttons and turning knobs while dressed like Napoleon, then I'd looove to see you try. These guys are musical geniuses. End of story
@chackporris8936 жыл бұрын
Man ...of course I enjoy the music that´s why I think this is crap and this clownish perfomance it´s overrated . ... but I guess that the only way to enhance those simple beats is wearing costumes and do all this parafernailia , fair enough when I was 20 ... I study jazz music I play bass & guitar , I play in three bands whith at least four people playing instruments and singing and believe me I´ve pushed many buttons when I was 20 in my Akai sampler ....after doing that for ages, after pusshing buttons , I realized that I´d prefer to play some serious/various music without any pose or any Napoleon costume...I guess that Daedelus ´s production process is wide more interesting than his actual fanfarea live .... I respect you "eating fast food " so let me complain against "fast food ".. that´s the whole point

If you have to question it, maybe it's just not for you. If you have to rationalize, maybe it's just not for you. If you simply cannot enjoy, maybe it's just not for you. Good day.

The sounds Daedelus manufacture is something conventional music cannot accomplish. This man is an outsider to the mainstream bullshit that is out there that you might be associating with.
