最近になって強くなったわけでは断じてない。 女子は田辺、江崎、立野、溝口、菅原なんかが活躍していた ころから寝技が大の得意だっての。 大体、昔の全中とか女子の場合、一本勝ちの9割近くが寝技だぞ。 最近になって立ち技もかなり増えてきたけど。

Her given name Kano is in no way related to his family name Kano. In the case of Kano Jigoro, it is really spelled Kanō Jigorō. But in English, it is spelled "Kano Jigoro". It's the same as the French Accent aigu, which disappears in English. Ono Shohei is also actually spelled Ōno Shōhei.

Why shouldn't we be allowed to criticize these fighters? Them being under 18 has nothing to do with constructively weighing in on their skill level. Just like you would do with any other judokas.
