Love how clean the beaches are in Japan... unlike in Spain where people still throw their trash at the beach unfortunately

Thanks for introducing me to such a beautiful place, I hadn't heard of Miyakojima before! I'd love to go one day! 😄

I really loved Miyakojima! Actually I liked it more than the main island, mostly because when we went to Miyakojima, there were fewer people around and the weather was so perfect for the beach!

Your snorkeling footage was awesome! So jealous that you got to see the sea turtles! Last time i was there I couldn't find any
@colourmycamera5 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! We actually went twice to that beach to try and see them. The first day we went it was getting late and cold, plus it was low tide, so we didn't go in the water so we changed our plans to go again during high tide. We had to swim fairly far out to see them but it never felt unsafe. I think in total we saw 3 or 4 different sea turtles.

Your video deserves more viewers, keep up the good work :) BTW, what camera you are using to film?

Thank you Junda! Your consistent support means a lot :) In this video I used the Canon G7X Mark ii and GoPro Hero3+ for the underwater shots. I also use the Panasonic GH4 sometimes but because it's bigger, I can be lazy to carry it around when I'm on holidays...the G7X is more portable and has great image stabilisation.

We went in early May. The weather was amazing, we were really lucky! A colleague of mine went in late October and the weather was good for him too :) If you go, just a tip: bring your own snorkeling gear if that's something you want to do. It can get pricey renting each time!

is the water warm?
@colourmycamera4 жыл бұрын
Depends on the season. When we went during late Spring, the weather was pretty warm, but during the late afternoon/ evening it got a bit chilly at times and the water was cold then.
