He was even hip-hop-ish for a while, during the "This Iz the Kabuki Rock!" era. He was def pop for a while though. What is this considered now? Electronic?

It was a bit generalizing but im saying most mainstream so called hip hop and rap stars. I obviously know there are few that are good... but they are never recognized.
