On this episode of Japan by Car, my friends and I visited Aoshima shrine and Takachiho Gorge. I have always wanted to visit this place, but I really never had a time. Kyushu made me feel so happy. And I amnot wait to comeback and visit.

🇯🇵 Aoshima Shrine is located on Aoshima. It is famous as a shrine which answers prayers for marriage. Many couples and women visit this shrine from all over Japan. The heart-shaped artworks in the grounds of the shrine, the ema wooden plaques which are hung up after visitors write their wishes down on them and love fortune telling slips that predict love are popular. If you go to the center of the island, there is a mysterious shrine. There is also a place where you can pray for good luck by tying string with different colors depending on your wish or by throwing earthenware dishes in a special place.
🇯🇵 Takachiho Gorge is one of the most incredible natural attractions on Kyushu Island, Japan. In the forest of Miyazaki, the Gokase River runs through a gorge comprised of volcanic basalt columns where the 17-meter high Minainotaki Waterfall pours down on the awe-struck tourists below who are paddling the iconic rowboats through the narrow chasm.

What a beautiful scenery and sunset to start this episode! I love the angle and mood at 2:44 like a movie scene! It's so relaxing watch so far where you met with the torii gate! This mystical feeling of shrine is so catchy and makes me wanna be there every single time! I'm so glad you visit it! Road trip time!
