I noticed these "Ma" moments in Kiki's DS and they made such a sublime impact on me I had to pause, note them down and specify How and Why they made me feel a certain way(I'm a Writer, I steal stuff). Thanks for naming the technical term(Ma) and providing the Context for it(Shinto/Buddhism). Blessings from Jerusalem ;)
