i love this device. the size is just right for me. onion os is better than stock. i actually forgot about it after a few days of playing last year. But i started to play ff7 again just psych me up for ff7 rebirth this week

Yup the issue is real, I didn’t listen to advice and ended up waiting for my new sd card to be delivered to can play games😃

@@RendonTech never use the stock card for any new retro handheld due to the cards poor quality they tend to have common issues with the os, disappearing game lists, save states, crashes/freezes

I bought one end of 2023 but unfortunately some of my best child memory arcade games not working although I tried many ways to fix them. And one more thing if left it turn off for some days without playing the battery just dies just weird

I’d say it depends on how many ROMs and stuff you would put on it.

64gb is plenty most of these older games are less than a gigabyte each, but 128gb isnt really that much more and gives you plenty of head room

If you’re using onion OS, make sure to reformat any memory card to FAT32 or it won’t work

The RG35XX H is the horizontal version of a device that's quite similar to this one and similar price point. The horizontal form factor makes it way more ergonomic and as a plus it has an additional 2 analog sticks. Its a bit bigger but still pocketable.

They’re pre installed, but the roms that it comes with are really bad. So you have to install new ones yourself. It’s not that bad to do though

Beautiful device, but after I installed Onion OS (4.3.1-1) and got all my ROMS setup ready sometimes (just sometimes) the SD card doesn't get recognized and the Miyoo Mini Plus starts the stock firmware, is there a reason for this? I have to reboot it or get the SD card out and slot it in again and then it launches correctly. Is there some brand of SD card model that works just perfect for this issue? is kinda frustrating. Im using a Kingston Canvas Select Plus 64gb (A1). The irony is that with the stock card that the Miyoo came works better the Onion OS frontend XD.

Does this allow you to increase the speed of roms? Really helps if playing turn based games like Pokemon. If not is there a handheld that allows you to increase the speed like you can on your phone?

Yes they did! And I did, primarily Super mario games but I actually added more games and updated to Onion OS after posting this video. I must say it's so great !
