I have the Mizuno ST200X driver fitted with the Mfusin 039-R light weight shaft my previous driver being the Mizuno ST190 HL, I've only had it a couple of weeks now but already I'm seeing the benefits of it over my previous driver its longer straighter and the dispersion left to right is much tighter, keep up the good work guy's

Another amazing video! I just was fitted on Sunday down here in OH after watching a ton of your guys videos. Ended up going with the Mizuno ST200 and the Mizuno MP 20 SELs (shoutout to Matt for being a lefty!) I didn’t expect the Mizuno driver to fit me as well as it did! Now I can’t wait for them to come in and go to the range!

I've got the SEL and ST190 driver/3w last year and hope you enjoy them as much as I have. The T20 wedges are sneaky good too. Even though I'll be using a SIM this year, Mizuno has really moved the needle with their line-up

You guys are amazing! Thanks for confirming my testing. I have the ST190 and assumed the ST200 would be the likely upgrade for stability of ballspeed and dispersion. Even though it did just that, I needed spin and launch so to my surprise I went SIM 9* with the same Accra RPG 472 M5+ shaft. I'm getting 14* & 2000 rpm compared to 12* & 16-1800rpm.

Currently playing the ST180 but I'm going to upgrade to the 200. I hit both side by side outdoors recently. To me...I found the ST200 felt more solid, less high pitched sound off the face, better stability and dispersion. Going for a proper fit soon! 😁

I have the ST 190 and I have hit the ST 200 once. I felt the ST 200 seemed softer off the face. Will be trying it again in a couple of weeks with Mizuno fitters coming to a course nearby. Matty's dispersion was spot on with the ST 200. I am in the market for a three wood. Will have to try the new model.

Interesting stuff. I switched from a TM M1 2017 to the ST 190 last year. Really love the ST. Stock Atmos Stiff and found the middle so much more. Not sure another move to the ST 200 would benefit me that much more. Now, if I hit it like Matt, maybe. Also switched to the ST 190 TS 3W. Loving that too. Next upgrade will be MP15 to the MP 20 MB.

Great video! Very interesting numbers -- similar models but completely different lie/loft parameters off the shelf. Would be curious to see how much more spin the 190 would've produced if you adjusted it to match the 200's higher dynamic loft and launch angle.

@isleofdeath4 жыл бұрын
Compared to for instance the F9, mishits/off center are punished way stronger by the ST190 to my experience. I had the opportunity of being a tester for the ST190 (including a fitting) and had the exact same shaft I had in my F9. The were worlds between them, no competing with the F9.
@stevem45954 жыл бұрын
@@isleofdeath Thabk You. I am going to try out a xr16 pro with a stiff shaft, the shaft on my club current is not listed and feels flimsy. BTW guys, at about 6:40 minutes you start talking a lot about lie angles. I reviewed the dynamic lie angle (Trackman data) from my last 20 range sessions and I'm getting very consistent, very low angles - 0.9 with my driver and 3w, 1.0 with my 3H, 1.1 for the driving iron, a range between 1.1 and 1.2 for all irons 4-9 then 1.2 for all my wedges. What is this actually telling me?

If find it really interesting that Mizuno drivers and woods are so well priced when the irons are quite expensive. I understand that the forged club cost more to produce and that’s probably why, but if the cost was balanced a bit, would that sell more of both? Or do they see that as devaluing the irons, just a question. I’m seriously considering a mizuno driver next as it seems such a good club at a good price.
@mangelarsson77744 жыл бұрын
Is the standard G410plus driver a lot less forgiving than the G410lst? Im also struggling with launch like Matt, but still want as much speed as possible. I game the TM M2 2016 right now at 10.5 and love the feel, but think it comes out a little low at times.

I've tried the SIM (and M5), Mavrik (and Epic Flash), G410 Plus (and G400) and I'm trying to find an F9 to compare to the Speed Zone if my local fitter will get them in. I did this to determine if a 2020 driver was really that much better than the previous model (for my average male amateur swing, as opposed to Matty's average male cyborg swing) to justify the difference in price, given the big discounts on all 2019 models now. The price differences are big here - $300 - $400 (fitted). I spoke to them about the Mizuno the other day and looks like they'll be getting those in so I'll definitely give them a go. Because of the already lower price point, and this comparo vid, I don't think I'll need to test the 190 against the 200 though. It looks like the improvements in the 200 are well worth the small premium over the 190 (only about $150 diff.). Loving the value-add this content provides :) Cheers fellas.
