People keep trying to pull the "Asian" card on this guy, "Oh he's just Asian, obviously that's why he can dance, any Asian can do what he does." I dunno, I think he's pretty freakin talented. And this performance was very well done. To combine his level of dance with his level of creativity is truly a sight to behold. Great job, Kenichi. I'm hope that your family back in Japan is very proud of you, you've accomplished a lot over here.

i dunno I'm asian and i can't dance for shit so i don't understand how the asian card is pulled when its not even a card cuz ALL the asians i know can't dance unless they took special classes

Joshua Moon I lived in SE Asia for 10 years, my wife is Asian and can sing her ass off but has no sense of rhythm when it comes to dancing. I saw some talented dancers in my travels across asia but when you go into a nightclub in Manila or Bangkok most people can not dance. Ive been to discos in Colombia and several other central & south american countries and people were dancing their asses off and nearly all of them great at it. Asians were cultured long before any other race (had written language and great cities while my ancesotrs were still living in caves and wearing fur underwear) and they have contributed many great things to mankind but dancing isnt in their top 10, ;D

Kenichi is awesome! He is such an awesome dancer! I don't know why he doesn't consider himself a dancer because he said "dance-Ish" but he just does improv dancing and tribute dancing. He's awesome as hell!

Kenny Nakawaki I think he called his performance on 'America's Got Talent' a dance-ish performance, simply because a good part of the performance included Martial Arts fighting, Matrix Bullet dodging and some party tricks (what he did with his hand going 360 round and the head dropping in a long coat thing) and comedy. A lot of these elements are taken not from dancing, but other aspects, so i think he was saying it was dance heavily inspired and tinged with many other elements. In other words, he is highly unique and offered many new elements to dancing hehe.
