I love this judge. He was able to get him to admit he was Steven Johnson. And I loved when he told him that if Stephen Johnson isn't here, I'm going to find him in default! Like magic, he appeared. That scared the Sovereign Citizen right out of him for that minute. Lol 😆 🤣 😂 The judge will be really ready for him next time too.

Then the judge says no, you said you're the representative. So I am finding you guilty by default". Then the kook goes back to his nonsense about finally going to the right court. The reason for the hearing was for a traffic offense. I remember stumbling upon the video he captured of the traffic stop a while back. Colorado treats minor traffic offenses as a civil infraction, so they apply both civil and criminal rules. The hearings are far more informal than criminal matters.

It's been decades but when I appeared in Small Claims ( in NYC) I don't think I appeared before an actual judge. But Mike would know if they save REAL judges for the meatier cases or that I don't know what I'm talking about. Also, Mike, what is a "Special Master " in law?

I live in Denver metro. E-470 is a toll road. And the 2nd most expensive toll road in the USA. He likely isn't paying the tolls. You don't pay while on the road. They have cameras that capture your license plate number then they postal mail you a bill. Or you can setup an account and prepay.

He must have gone around a year without paying his tolls. The toll road authority allows 90 days with pretty minimal late fees. Then 120 days in collections. At that point late fees and collections total $70 that’s added onto the tolls. If he was using E470 on a daily basis, he could have run up a few hundred dollars in tolls.

From what I could make out, the Judge mentioned something about highway code, violations and fines. Sovcit probably got on toll roads that are "pay by mail" and didn't pay the tolls.

Not sure where I saw it but there's a video of Judge Hurley dealing with a Sov Cit, he agrees with everything the Sov says, much to the amusement of everyone. The sov is actually in jail appearing via video link. It's an absolute classic, Judge Hurley is hilarious and destroys the clown while all around him everyone is dying laughing. From what I could make out the matter was the defendant had unpaid tolls on a toll road in Colorado. I know it's colorado because the E-470, Arapahoe, Douglas and Adams (all counties that E-470 runs through) I know because I live in Colorado.

Hey, so this case happened in Colorado and it involved I think E-470, which is one of Colorado’s toll roads. If it was E-470, then the case was likely before a Hearing Officer with the E-470 Public Highway Authority. He theoretically can have it appealed in a Colorado court, but being a sovereign citizen, he’ll likely fuck it up.

Interestingly, the "authorized representative" seems only able to cause the "living being" to be sentenced.

How would a SovCit in a courtroom be compared to...? So, a 4 year old child walks into a college math class and explains how math works to the math professor and INSISTS that 1+1=11.

my favorite thing about sovcits, is that I'm pretty sure if I walked to any of them and told them I had read, and watched some videos on electrical or plumbing work they still wouldn't let me do that kind of work on their homes. yet here they are telling judges and lawyers about the law. lol They seem to ignore the schooling involved to be a lawyer, to say nothing of the learning that continues after law school.

Having seen a couple of videos (Van Balion I think) of meter bypassing sovcits in the UK, I wouldn't be so sure.

The "authorized representative" just got the "legal entity" of his ass handed back to him by the judge! That's what we need...more judges not willing to put up with this crap.

Judges ought to have more fun with this stuff. "Who authorized you?" "What proof do you have that you are an authorized representative?" That kind of thing.
