I love your advice MJ. As a 27 year old latina woman all my life I’ve been taught to be strong, independent and guarded. And while yes those are all good traits to have it also gave me the msg that men were somehow bad or trying to hurt me. I’ve always kept my guard up and never let men in and honestly it’s EXHAUSTING and LONELY. In the passed few months Gods taken me on a journey to embrace my femininity. I am not ashamed to say that I need the companionship of a man. And that men are not my arch nemesis that I must contend with, but my partners in life’s journey. It feels so good to hear you share advice that encourages us ladies to lean into our femininity and to allow ourselves to be taken care of. Your advice is empowering and very intuitive.

How is being "strong and independent " any different than being a typical person, self sufficient adult ? If Black women knew the history of the "strong and independent " title, they'd stop saying it. Ask yourself why you rarely hear any other demographic refer to themselves that way ?

In a situation when he’s mad and yelling or just exerting too much masculine energy, and you allow your feminine energy to flow, how do you separate it from coddling? One extra: Single moms becareful treating your mate like your child. We work so hard to raise our child(ren) that it overlaps to your mate. In reverse it is not okay to feel you have to raise the mate either. You need a mate that supports, uplift, and benefits YOU. Some of us need to be strong for our kids and it may overlap in relationship.. you got this ❤👑

I'm a very capable woman, and always giving to my man and usually don't accept help, but I understand now that men need to feel needed. I need to tone down my masculine, strong, independent qualities and let him be the strong woman. Welp, it's too late now, but at least I'll know next time around. Thank you for this healing!

The woman who gave you advice about leaning into your feminine energy to attract the kind of masculine energy you like sounds a lot like what a guy named astralboobaby, who's a very talented and gifted born seer wrote and talked about for years! He also said that we all have various degrees of masculine and feminine energies and no matter our sex, those masculine and feminine energies will be magnetized to one another based on metaphysical strengths in this regard. He has brilliantly explained that we have been nurtured to not understand and cultivate our true nature vs. nurture. The more I hear and read from others about this, I am realizing more and more that we have been grossly miseducated about human attraction and sexuality because we are so disconnected with nature. Great advice!
