E seemed very energetic at first, but later in the game she really slowed. The announcers noted that UConn slows near the end of each quarter. Are they tired or just lacking motivation since they're not scoring on shots anyway?

The inside-outside play and passing are good, so they get good shots, but you're right they don't make enough shots. One small part of it is that they aren't giving their shots enough arc, except Nika. I wouldn't tell Olivia to change her shot though. when she's in the zone her flat shots are still good.

Sweet Caroline lost her marbles out there against Steton Hall, but she was consistently hitting the middle of the back rim on her threes. The cure for that, as every shooter knows, is to stop aiming at the rim. You aim at the bottom of the net hangers & make sure your shooting hand goes from palm to the sky to palm to the floor: almost like you are pouring some kind of a fluid into the bucket. Keep shooting, Caroline. Aliya Edwards & Nelson, the Dodo, should also take that advice. Remember this: if you are good enough to hit the back rim, you are good enough to hit the bottom of the net hanger. Another technique for those who hit the rear rim is to imagine a funnel above the rim, but that's a second-tier advanced technique

I watched a video where they talked about where to aim and there is some variance among the NBA pros, but mostly it's a specific tiny spot inside back of rim. Focus precisely that way and find your arc. The hand & arm motion they have is pretty good already. I like the idea of "putting fluid into the bucket". The hand motion does look like pushing and then bringing down a flow of water.

I think until U conn play in a tougher league than the big east say the ACC for instance they will not win the ncaa championship
