Im a beginner and so want to make this, but i just cant understand the explanation at 12:12 with the "repeat" ending of 2 stitches , and coming back and starting with row 2 again?? I should start this project now, as it might take til next winter to complete 😂

Why the smaller hook for the border? Isn't there a risk of the middle being puckered a bit? But i just ordered it because i love the design and plan to do a little different with grey and yellow
