Yep... Saniflo removing!!!.... no one likes it, it’s nasty as we all know what’s inside!!!!!
This one was not pumping away and just building up internally then leaking out, so out it came.
Also 1st fixing a little cloakroom ready for the toilet and basin to be fitted when it arrives

I had same issue with a Sani-slim today. Had a mop strand stuck in the blade! Also I tend to find that if the motor is running constantly it’s usually a sign that the outlet is blocked somewhere. Great vid again 💪🏾

Same problem with my Sanitop - paper towels had been used instead of toilet roll. Broken up paper stuck in pump outlet at the bottom, where it joins the right angle pipe heading to the top of the box. Not too tricky to fix.

Using the example of sololift2 D-2, I will tell you how to solve problems for a long time. The device has no electronics, the pump is controlled directly by a mechanical switch in the filling sensor, which burns out after 2 years. There is a rubber membrane on the filling sensor, which turns brown over time and stops reacting, it needs to be changed, if it breaks, it will pour through the air duct (a small hole) and the entire pump and possibly a little on the floor, the engine will burn (costs a lot). The air valve becomes dirty and water is poured through it onto the floor. I made the sololift work normally for years without disassembly and cleaning just like that - 1.Close the air valve completely with 3M adhesive tape in 2-3 layers (water will begin to flow in and out of the inlet corrugation by gravity). 2. Turn off the filling sensor and close its air duct (small hole) with acid silicone. 3.Install a configurable capacitive sensor outside the housing to the left of the water tank, for the presence of water, autonics CM30-3015NC (for a 3M double-sided thermal scotch); time relay XY-J02 (JZ-801), OMRON G3MB-202P solid-state relay for shunting the mechanical relay on the time relay board and a 12V power supply and a smoothing capacitor for a 2000 mf psu. The sensor must give a command to turn on the time relay (via a 50mf capacitor, a resistor parallel to the capacitor), which must be configured to turn on once for 3 seconds. The power actuating contacts should go to the wires in the pump that used to fit the filling sensor. Plus, I held a separate switch for manually starting the relay with my time relay and + OMRON. And it is also necessary to conduct a wire for a switch that will turn off the time relay for a short time, turning off the cycle. Setting up the relay - 3s work, 6s simple, number of inclusions 900 times. This will work for a long time and without maintenance with disassembly because there is almost nothing left in the system that can collapse from alkalis or acids, or through which a pump or floor can be filled, the filling sensor does not contact with water, only the engine and the water check valve remain of the vulnerable mechanisms. Once every 3 months, fill the tank with water with detergent for washing and wait 6-24 hours and drain, you can more often (alkaline powder, you can use acid detergent). After closing the air valve, the capacity of the sololift, as well as the outlet pipe, will become pressure. Perhaps, for this reason, may be nothing will accumulate on its walls, just as it does not accumulate on the walls of the outlet pipe due to pressure and cavitation. Used to work on these saniflo units a lot, usually a Saniflo pumping like that is a sign the outlet is blocked ! Done the same thing as you once and bought a new £450 unit to find it was doing the same thing ( unit kept pumping ) 😫 luckily cleared it by forcing mains pressure water down the outlet 😃 glad yours worked out well 👍🏻

We had a bathroom bulit in basement with standup shower and sink all run into sani flo upflush. After about a year get this smell. I know sani Flo reccomends using sani flo descaler which is $70 for 2 uses I have bought Zep calicum descaler and helped. But the smell is back anythin go reccomend or might be the issue

I held off buying tracer pencils for ages. Wish I’d got them earlier as I love them to be honest. The last sani I went to was all boarded up so a chippy took it all off and I looked round the back. Sanipro XR just stop working today in my barbershop...2 years work.... electrical short circuit every time when i put IT to electricity.So for shure its dead.A lots of problem with that, Waters come many times from device.Sometimes very noisy, and sometimes very silence... Whats a saniflow? I'm guessing this house isn't plumbed for DWV (Drainage ,waste and venting ) piping cause I don't see a toilet flange underneath the toilet .I heard if this type of system being used for basements .

Are you actually supposed to drain a bath into one of these? I checked but all the ones I could find were only rated for sinks, showers and bogs, never baths. I toyed with the idea of fitting a kind of sauna area complete with jacuzzi in a cellar once but gave up.

If you fit a none return valve in the waste pipe to stop waste water going into the bath...... which is what I will be doing in this one when I fit a new unit.

@@MJTiffPlumbing I read that the pumps of all those smaller units weren't designed to cope with the amount of water that drains out of a bath. You do get a few hundred litres draining out in a matter of only a few minutes, which is a lot more flow that a shower could have. That's why I was asking!

I would like to highlight that given I live in the Hunter Valley, that I am aware that the Yowie..or Hairy Man has had many sightings and strong history in the area ... known both with the original Aboriginal tribes of the area saying they were taller than the tallest tree and in more modern times being seen and people trying to investigate them. Guess they are the equivalent of bigfoot? Also the Singleton Army Base is just an hour away. On the other side of Maitland in the Hunter Valley...there was an incident a few years ago in 2016 where a guy jumped out of a car at Thornton and despite his friends calling out to him as they stayed in the car...their friend ran off into the bush...it was in the middle of the night. He was never found. No reason he did what he did. His name is Zac Barnes. His friends said Zac had been acting oddly and there was no reason he should simply jump out of the car and run into the bush. If you knew how small the town and area was you would appreciate this guy completely disappearing as highly strange. Despite suspiscions of drugs or owing money scaring him..which the parents deny...where did he go? Sadly his brother committed suicide 4 years later, leaving parents devastated losing both sons. There has also been lots of past recorded incidents of ufos in the Hunter Valley around Melville Ford.
