Nobody knew what a Black Hole looked like when they made this film, it was only after we got a first picture of the Black Hole which perfectly matched the film, the science in this film is completely accurate.

The first accurate representation of a black hole was done by Jean pierre luminet in 1979. Although in the cinema interstellar is the first to have a close representation of a black hole (not 100% accurate since the staff decided to tone down some visuals effects to not confuse the spectators as the doopler effect)

Always happy when someone reacts to this movie. Christopher Nolan is a genius with the hidden messages throughout the movie and he couldn’t have picked a better cast for this movie. My personal favorite movie and IMO the greatest movie ever made.

I love this movie. I've wanted to go to space since I was about 8 😭😭 it made me a physics nerd. The universe is such a strange but beautiful thing. I'd never go out into the ocean though. That planet would terrify me. And that lady pissed me off. It's accurate though, they're a bunch of scientists, not explorers, so there will be mistakes made. In the end, he was in a tesseract, a 3-D representation of the 4th dimension - time. The tesseract was connected to a point in space- Murphy's bedroom, and moving through the tesseract let him move to different points in time inside that bedroom, much like a 4th dimensional being could move through time like we go out to check the mailbox. Cooper is still alive at 124 because time is relative. He experienced time normally just like everyone back on earth. But if people on Earth could look out at Cooper, they would have seen him moving in slow motion. Time dilation is weird, but it technically makes time travel to the future possible. Also, every tick in the music on that water world was a day passing on Earth.

Brand sums the whole film up in a couple of lines. For all it's cool science this film is about connection and love. "Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space. Maybe we should trust that, even if we can't understand it."

MJ I love your reactions!! I’ve been waiting for this, interstellar is one of my favorite movies. I saw it in iMax and I left the theater dragging my jaw on the floor. Hans zimmer did the music for this; I play piano and I immediately learned how to play no time for caution. The song that played during the docking scene. In my opinion the music in this movie was even more impressive than the incredible cinematography and beautiful acting performances. Much love! I can’t wait for more of your reactions 😊

I feel like she cried a lot more than she showed here because she edited quite a bit through some of the most emotional scenes of the film lol the scenes when he watched his kids messages. The “don’t let me leave Murph” she edited out that whole sequence, and practically the whole conversation with Murph at the end only showing the “because my dad promised me” part. The reason why I think that is because her eyes start welling up with tears at one part and then when it cuts to another sequence and her eyes are clear again. Not critiquing or anything just an observation lol

The furthest manmade spacecraft is the Voyager 2, it's breached the Oort Cloud of our solar system at 20,5 billion kilometers away from Earth. Saturn is a mere 1.3 billion kilometers by comparison. As for manned spacecraft, I don't think we've gone beyond the moon.
