This is the largest of the MJX hexacopters, and continues with the cool design of the smaller ones.
Enjoy!

Hi ya Ryan, I have the black version of the MJX X600 and it spoiled me. Love this little hex man, once you get used to it, it's a blast to fly. If you want longer flight times, put a 7.4 v 1000 mill amp in it, press the top left orange button on the top of the transmitter and turn off the lights and you'll get about 15 min per flite and 12 min out of the stock battery. Also do the range mod >>-> MJX X600 Mini HexaCopter Range Mod - Double Stock Range Tutorial - Step by Step >>-> kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIbPeIeJetV-oLM Nice little Hex and it will fly with a Run-Cam or a knock-off GoPro swung under it with no problem with great flight times...PS get a few extra motors if you want to fly with a cam See ya in the air man Wayne - PARCQR

Thanks Ryan for this excellent review. The 600 is one of my favorites. But again the stock transmitter tends to hide the real capabilities of this hexacopter. The throttle's response is not precise (dead zone). Frequent flier flies it with the devo transmitter and can get crazy angles with it.

Would it be possible to just put some colour electrical tape on the arms to help with orientation? I'm sure that would help when flying in daylight.

My black X600 is still in backorder after 3 weeks @banggood. Checked the website while watching your review and I see they have the white version in stock. So I asked if they can change it and send out a white one asap. Bought it in a flash deal or something, only had to pay €28 or $32

Looks like the best of the line and super affordable. Thanks for the nice, critical, review Ryan. BTW - I saw a $30 quad (a Cheerson CX lookalike) stocked at the counter of my local 7-Eleven (in Brooklyn). The guy behind the counter said that they were "flyin' out of here." So either they're super popular or he was just making a bad joke.

I love mine! I got black but plan on paint the props a lime green to help w/ orientation. I've read that upgrading the bushings to ball bearings is a good thing to do. Mine also came w/ the taller landing gear which is fine because I want to put a mobius or keychain type camera on it. I'm so glad you finally reviewed this one. I've been watching videos after videos on this. Thanks for the review!

This one seems to be hard to get as I had to wait over 5 weeks before Banggood was able to ship my first one (white, was shipped out today). I ordered also second one (black) 10 days ago and got notification that it will not be available until end of the month. Will mix up the different colored props for sure! I do not yet have the large TX, but now that you mention it, I had the same feeling with X800 when I first tried it out without prop guards. The quad felt unresponsive like it had delay before it acted. After 2-3 flights I noticed that it wasn't a delay but discrete jumps in stick inputs. Basically if you do not move stick over the "edge", you can keep moving your stick between two points without any reaction from the quad. So instead of having dead zone in the middle, you have dead zones everywhere! It doesn't matter too much with prop guards (X800), but without those I had serious issues flying in 4x4m room because of I couldn't fly it precise enough. So I threw stock TX away and flashed my Devo 7E with MJX support and WOW! Not only were all the problems gone, but the quad had also much better pitch and yaw rates.

@JohnFHendry 9 жыл бұрын
+Matias Griese "but discrete jumps in stick inputs" yup... it's the junk toy grade low resolution non-programmable TX's filling up people's closets holding these quads back from being hobby grade now that the motor issues seem to be resolved. I have over 20 hours on a set of 7mm coreless motors flown in wind and no loss in performance noticed. Quite surprised as they are catching up with low cost ball bearings in brushless motors and can be changed in a few minutes a lot faster with less work and for less money with no oiling needed. I notice the low resolution stepping with the U807 TX and it drives me nuts and despite using DSSS I'll be getting a DEVO TX and just waiting see how small the 7E is in person. Thanks for the info... thinking of getting one of these for FPV around the backyard now that the DEVO work so well with it. I have two U807's I planned on using and noticed they both lose throttle when running at low RPM sitting on the ground breaking in the motors possibly due to FCB programing issues with the accelerometer but guessing it could be the throttle resolution gaps that are mimicking a loss of signal as reducing throttle brings it back and it happens when being flown efficiently to penetrate the wind and in translational lift throttle settings. Useless for my needs and wonder why no one has reported on this as both mine do it using either TX and hoping the DEVO corrects it. I'll likely find out what it is programing the DEVO as I think it's using the throttle ch for signal reception reference.
@mahagr78
@mahagr78 9 жыл бұрын
+John F Hendry Like I said, I have no issues with U807 or X800/600 with Devo 7E; they become really nice flying quads after you ditch the stock TX. I really hope manufacturers would stop making those low quality TXs and start selling BNF versions and better quality TX separately; right now more and more quads have dropout issues because of the new cheaper components that get used.

If you want to order from lighttake and if you pay express sipping or airmail be ready to wait around 3 weeks for delivery (not 5,7,10 days),because first its coming from china(HK) not from NL,and most probably you'll pay custom taxes too,the good thing its that you'll have tracking nr, btw customers service work slowly,and the reviews from the site are special selected (spam=all 5*) the quality its pretty good for this price tough.You can track your item here: www.packagetrackr.com/ www.postnl.post/tracktrace www.17track.net/en

It seems a pretty nice machine. Will doing a light coat of spray-paint on say the 2 front props not make visibility and orientation easier ? Or maybe on the 2 front motor pods ?
@theimacman
@theimacman 9 жыл бұрын
+Johan Combrinck Yeah, that would likely help, though I don't know if the weight of the paint on the prop would have any affect on flight performance.
@101boertjie
@101boertjie 9 жыл бұрын
+Flyin' Ryan RC i think if you keep the layers very thin, making sure that the paint do not run at all, then it should not really make any noticeable difference in flight performance. i think some mat-black, or maybe a neon green on the front end will look pretty cool, and you can do the side of the 2 front motor arms and housings in a similar color, with stencils from masking tape to get some nice designs on there.
@theimacman
@theimacman 9 жыл бұрын

+TargetedIndividual TORTUREDwithSatelliteWeapons In this size, they are basically just novelty. Their real use is in much bigger camera rigs, since they can carry a lot more weight, and if one motor/prop dies, it could still fly and land, whereas that would cause a quad to crash.

Why is its battery less mHa than the smaller micro MJX X800? I guess you could buy some spare black props and then use those at the back or something. For orientation. Is it possible to have both center springed sticks in mode 2? I think I'll get some! It looks plenty powerful for those flips. Does it feel 'Heavy' in the air like you said about the other hexs?
@theimacman
@theimacman 9 жыл бұрын
+Brian Evans Well, it's a 2S battery, but each cell is smaller than the X800. I'm not sure if there are spare black props for this, but that would definitely help. And, sure, you could have both sticks spring-center, though I'm not sure why you'd want that on the throttle. It does feel heavier in the air than similar quads, obviously, but it doesn't feel underpowered or anything like that.
