Getting sick sucks donkey and it especially sucks when you want to spend time with people with weaker immune systems or health issues like my granny who passed back in 2021 from life-long lupus complications. I didn’t get sick at all back when I wore a mask and someone in my family hasn’t recovered from a respiratory virus they got several months ago that didn’t even test at a hospital as the old ‘rona - they STILL have brain fog and trouble focusing. I don’t blame people for still wanting to wear a mask; it takes one bad infection and you’re gambling on whether you become impaired for lord knows how long.
