Honestly I think he may be in a photo studio, and that’s a screen or projector of some sort behind him. Because it looks like the same loop of trees and then they are using a fan to blow his hair. That’s also how he got such dark lighting though it’s sunny outside. That’s my guess though. Sound design the rest to feel like a train. Still performing it live, but with shotgun mics are something pointed his way idk?

@@adelekeode3745 I don't think your guess that this was done in a studio is correct. Look at the interaction between his hair and the sun... how could that be a screen? The end of the video the background texture completely changes @2:13. I'd guess it's an electric vehicle towing an enclosed box trailer at around 20MPH with microphones that are shielded from the wind with some audio post-processing done to remove background noise. The camera is probably as far as they can be against the opposite edge of the trailer with a telephoto lens to make the background movement appear faster. Someone who worked on this video, please let us know how you pulled off this awesome magic trick.

The only mic'd sound on this is the vocal and the vocal sounds fairly raw and not that loud compared to the rest of the sounds. A combo of well placed lapel mic + noise gate + going slow (it's a bus not a train) would be plausible imo.
