@@mage325 First of all, I apologize for the language I use; I do not have a Geez keyboard. I am open-minded and willing to correct my mistakes. I will change 'ማኅደረ' to 'ሀለወት'. I have one reply for @mage325 regarding the comment you made. It is important for us to believe in professionalism. Our church, the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, has faced difficult situations because we have elevated those who are undeserving and have not been strong in correcting wrongdoing immediately whenever possible. We must learn from our experiences today that these actions are not without cost. If you have ever stood in a church during Mahlet, you might wonder why our ancestors said, when the deacon brings the cross to the teachers, 'It is for you, it is for you, you are the leader.' It is due to professionalism and respect for each other and for the process. This practice shows us who truly deserves God's word and should be the leader of the 'mahlet'. Let me share something with you. In 2010 Ethiopian Calendar, Bahir Dar University launched the Geez Language Opening Program. Scholars from Gojam, Gondar, Shewa, Wollo, and Tigray attended. And who was chosen to be the guest of honor? Daniel Kibret. Hahahahaha, isn’t it funny? This is why we have fallen into trouble by granting the priesthood and the papacy to those who do not truly know the Church. (By the way, this statement does not apply to the doctor.) We should strive to uphold the values of our faith and maintain the integrity of our religious practices. Our church's history is rich with examples of strong leaders who corrected wrongdoings and guided their followers with wisdom and humility. By learning from their example, we can ensure that our traditions are preserved and respected. Let us work together to bring forward those who are truly deserving and capable of leading us in faith. In conclusion, let us reflect on the importance of professionalism, respect, and proper leadership within our church. We need to recognize and support those who embody these qualities to safeguard the future of our religious community. Only by doing so can we maintain the sanctity and integrity of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and continue to guide our followers on the right path.
