I love how Talbain went out of his way to avoid fighting anyone other than Gambit, warping all over the place and even doing his lilttle "be quiet" taunt to warn them, while they in turn just continually try and beat the shit out of him, lmao.

From my understanding of this movie and the source material, Exiles by marvel comics, this Gambit is Remy Boudroux, not Remy Lebou. By this mere tweak in the name, it can be gleaned that he is an alternate Gambit from a parallel universe, but took a much darker path than the Gambit from X-men. Exiles deals with these parallel universes a lot, so it makes relative sense here.

It's also fair to note that R1665 has expressed how he doesn't like to use Shoto & clone characters like Ryu and Scorpion unless he gets to kill them off. The reason being that they're unjustifiably over powered and over used by many fans who make videos & fan fics like this.
