Absolutely stunning! I love the sprayed on stripe kit. I restored an Olympic blue mk1 rs2000 in the ninetys with electric blue stripes and the stripe kit took almost as long as the bodywork!!😡 This car is going to be one of the best on the classic ford scene! Top work.👍👍👍👍

I was waiting with interest until you got to the wings and it was like YEESSS! You did what the factory did and used steel wings so well done you Sir! I ran a Twin Cam Escort in the '70s and had steel 'bulges' fitted and the ex works RS rolling shell I bought of course had steel ones as well. Love the car, I'm half way through the video, didn't mind the music, although i think the music may have given the paintjob orangepeel. I have been known to be wrong, lets continue watching. I hope someone spent many, many hours polishing out all that peel, many hours. Love the decals, But why on earth would you put them on a mistcoat of laquer?

Mrk1 escort best car ever to be made i rember the days u could bye them 50 100 quid if I knew back then how much they worth now would bought load up kept them in a lock up I'd love to bye one now but such high prices .like mrk 2s allso xr3i use to pick up for couple hundred quid .saxo vtr with go up in price going to look for one in great condition keep back still pick them up cheap

How long did the restoration take? and did you find obtains parts quite difficult? the reason i am asking is that i have found a shell and a 2.1 pinto, but the shell is in a bad way and i'm know that its going to take a lot of time and money.
