Idk if they updated the settings but they got a setting that u can put to choose who to start the round with

There is one that sort of helped me a little it was to hold back while in recovery and as soon as my Liu moves you input the rest

i came back to say what helped me was as soon as you hear the audio cue of the dragon kick landing use forward kameo thats what helped me

Yeah I realised I didn't want explain specifics but yes in short hitting at the same frame counteracts the damage scaling and gravity used in the combo. Good catch!
