what's funny is my mum actually foretold when i was 17 that i would end up like harold. and i actually did, i became an auditor while living a mostly solitary life, until i met my wife. this movie is one of those things that i'll always keep in my phone or in my hard drive.

No, though he probably doesn't put on a necktie on weekends, or running to catch the 8:17 Kroneker bus. It's not saying he only does these things on weekdays, it's saying that this is what he does on weekdays - i.e. this is his normal daily routine - which most people delineate as their routine on days when they work.

Ruby Sparks came out 6 years AFTER Stranger than Fiction. Also, a completely different premise, as there is no evidence in this story that Harold sprang from Karen's imagination - he's a normal human being, with a real life, not a fictional character come to life.
