The Mk2 is coming along nicely Gavin, as you said most people don't realise the prep work that goes into a restoration like this the base and clear is a very small part it's all those different processes you have to go through before the colour, speaking of colour it would look nice in a Ruby Red 👌 I watched a video by the Gunman who was reviewing your blocks Gavin and he really likes them, great to see they are going worldwide, I'm hoping you will be selling them in smaller kits or even singly as all I need is the small one for what I do 🙏👍

Love everything that you do. Watched Grants demonstration of your blocks last week. Mentioned that the suction can be too hard / fierce and the blocks stick to the panel. Said you were looking at fitting a valve. Have you considered adding more vents to the block, that will spread the force / suction and reduce the overall effect. Just a thought. By the way they are brilliant.

Nice one. Blocking front to rear through the doors will leave it looking incredible, a definite test for door your hanging skills. How did you check the door alignment before getting on it with the blocks?

The doors have probably been on and off of this car 3 or 4 times we just set the lock with the door sill rubbers in and then adjust the gaps by eye to get them perfectly even

Little question if you have bare metal would you epoxy prime it all first with the polyester spray filler next followed by? 2k or normal cellulose primer, thanks, cars looking well.

You can't actually spray on the polyester because it is filler based and very porous this is why we put a one-to-one wet on wet epoxy on there and then our 2K high build primer on top

Hi gavin love watching your videos learnt some much, never used spray filler, what the purpose of this? Can you paint straight over it or do you have to prime on the top? What would you block the spray filler with?

Hi Paul no you cannot paint directly on the polyester you would have to put a one-to-one epoxy and then a 4K primer on the top the purpose of this is to level the body completely it's like putting on a fine skim of filler but with a spray gun and then blocking it all out

Paul you should really add a wet on wet epoxy before the high build primer this locks all the porous layers between the waterproof epoxy ,if you don't do this when you block your high build primer down it could get very thin to the polyester and it will definitely suck in any colour
