Sounds soo good with the Remus A little bit more volume would be nice But it is a daily so it’s perfect! Vr6 definitely one of the best sounding engines

You need to extend the pipe... If you look in the shot how it sounds you can see the heat on the lip and the bumper... Youre going to burn the lip and bumper if you dont extend the pipe... Love how it sounds tho... Just missing some turbo sounds 😉

Lip will be fine I’m just gonna bring the tips down a little more. Had the muffler on the Bora wagon pointed straight at the inside of the rear lip for two years and nothing ever happened lol Turbo one day for sure though haha

hello christian, i'm talking about brazil, i'm here to thank you for your videos, i liked it a lot, here we don't have videos like yours with oem + modifications and installation of good taste parts, because i have the same taste as yours, i followed all saga the vr6 wagon and r32 because the mk4's are my favorites.... the vr6 wagon is sick, can't wait for you guys to install the coilovers and xenon headlights! a tip about the remus, leaning against the back lip can melt, the ideal would be to cut it....

Gonna be replacing my stock exhaust from the cat back with a smaller resonator and a decent length muffler so I get a low burrrph sound rather than a Honda Civic frog launcher on my 04' Passat 1.8T 5speed Wagon. Just waiting for it 2 not be 1°F (-17°C) like it is practically everyday here in Central Wisconsin 😒 I don't have a tig welder but my mig will work just fine. Thanks 4 the vid. I always do my research 2 see and hear what works for people so I can make a good decision for my, "Granny Sleeper".

Just extend the exhaust hanger did mine also to save my v6 lip at the back.

Before there were water cooled VW’s, I mostly drove Volvo’s. No real mods in those days. However, I did swap out the stock exhaust for an Abarth. Great sound, and the car felt a little faster, maybe. Your hot rod wagon sounds great 👍. Nice job, thanks, RickGTI….. 🇺🇸🔧

TDI centre exhaust section has no box from the factory so could be a cheap bolt on delete option. I know those with 1.8T often use them but no idea if VR6 exhaust is different

10:20 i drove around just like that in my vr5 for a few day and it was so much fun u won't believe me....then i bought a bastuck catback exhaust and it is just as quiet as stock and i'm not sure wheter i shoud change it bc of the stupid laws in germany... i don't like my new exhaust:( Also ur exhaust sounds so[ much better im enviousXD
