I'm very impressed very helpful i did the same for my mk4 gli i did struggle and I'm confused about the little line next to the splitter valve my kit didn't come whit the line next to the splitter valve

4:42 on my mk4 that bracket was much higher up and was used as a support. i mounted it to the strut tower

you have the long down pipe backwards thats bracket attaches the the valve cover or where the air filter bracket goes lol

surprised no one ever made a bracket for these cars so the intercooler could be attached on the outside of the bumper.

So i bought eBay intercooler kit lol but didn't realize this one came with a blow off valve and i obviously have my diverter valve on my inlet plenum can they both work? i also bought the forge inlet trying to install lol...

Never cut the pipe unless you have a weld machine

So your problem is you put the pipes from the turbo to the intercooler on backwards. I have the same exact kit. Took me a while to figure out but if you do that you dont need to cut you just need to weld the extra n75 port on

Jon Richers do you have a pic? I have the same kit too and am installing it and would love to see a picture for this. Does this fix the flange for the piping to actually be bolted somewhere?

Is this mod worth it on a stock 2005 Mk4 gti 1.8t KO3s? I notice the car runs slower when the wheather is warmer maybe if I install this front mount intercooler will help to get a little bit fresher air.

Ight buddy I have a question my car is running lean I already changed the maf sensor also the throttle buddy witch lifted the safe mode off. I ran a test on car only failed one TID: $05 CID: $0D I Looked up $05 and it stand for oxygen sensor. Not sure if that's why I'm running lean. I already changed so much stuff to this car also fuel injectors. The fuel gauge don't work not sure if it's do to the sending unit not working making the car go lean. One of the fualt codes is p0411 secondary air injection. Ima test it the or some other day sometimes it turns on in a cold start for like 4 seconds. I'm guessing it's between oxygen sensor, fuel pump and sec air pump. I already checked all the hoeses they all perfect. Any clues from you?
