In this video we are going do a MK6 DSG Service. This would be the same for most current VW and some Audi model DSG transmission. During this video I will show you a cheap trick on how to add fluid in your DSG.

The temperature range for the level set is 35-45 C. Most people start the draining at 35C.

what if you dont have a OBD 11. can you idle the car till it reaches operating temp then pull the drain plug?

Can I do a day service without scanner tool to check temperature

Yes you can. give 10 to 15 min to get up to temperature from a cold start. That should at least be close to temperature

I did a dsg flush with a mechanic just as preventive maintenance. And I am facing a few issues. Jerky while starting from stop and in reverse especially while going up a slop. Also some random jerkiness...any idea what could be wrong. Things very smooth before 😢

Did you try to reset adaptation? 1 put the ignition on (don’t start) 2 press down and hold on the accelerator pedal for at least 10 seconds 3 switch off the ignition then release the pedal 4 remove the key 5 press down on the accelerator pedal for more than 10 seconds 6 release the pedal 7 start the car . Hopefully this should help . you can look up on forums and videos for more information.

Yeah, definitely need better light. When talking to the camera, center your head and shoulders in the camera frame. I get the background logos and setting, so maybe set the camera higher, does not look right looking down, imo. Overall good video, easy and simple to understand. The plastic valve plug needs to be put back right after all the fluid is drained out. The new fluid can be pumped in with the valve in it.
