The force rocking the engine/transmission is "Torque" not HP. I agree with your ending statement - Leave the factory Motor/Trans mounts alone; to include the Pendulum Arm itself - until of course, they do wear down. The biggest issue is filling that GAP in the rear of the factory rubber. You said that "Polyuerythane" has more NVH - which is true. Their durameter is much higher and less forgiving that rubber. Rubber absorbs and Polyeurythane deflects. You will read or hear or see that many that go with polyeurythane bushings on things end up having them cracked. They last only so long, but so does everything else right? Nice quick fix!!!

Thank you for the comparison on vibration noise between billet vs polyurethane

If you did just the lower insert, I would check to see if it has bent since you installed it. If so, get a new one along with the upper insert. While you're at it, get the new dogbone because the stock one has to come out anyways to install the upper insert.

I got a brand new stock manual GTI. Being my first manual car where I'm still practicing it, I'm getting the polyurethane insert. The thing clunks like crazy even from factory.

I had poly inserts in my MK6 over the years and they all did the same thing. Work well for a few months then melt. Just replaced the poly one with the lower and upper billet inserts. If you get the billet inserts, be sure to get the upper as well. Lower only will eventually bend. As far as the engine rocking like a boat, I feel the same pain in my RS3. It's pretty bad.

Had one of these on my mk7 GTI but from torque solutions and experienced a lot of NVH rolling from a stop but once I was up to speed there was nothing. Still bothered the hell out of me so I removed it

Had one of these for a year in my mk7 GTI coupled with the 034 upper and lower high density pucks and after a few track days it was useless it just bent, the bolt is one time use and is torque to yield that requires 130nm and 90deg for anyone that is interested.

May be different forces being fwd vs awd but mines been in now for probably 10k miles and seen dozens of launches on the street and track and is perfect

Hi Bro. I just watched your c55 vid with secondary cat and res delete. Did you have any other exhaust mod apart from that?
