► There aren't many car modifications that are affordable, simple to install, and actually make a noticeable difference on your car. Luckily, these billet aluminum dogbone/pendulum mount inserts from 034Motorsport fit the bill. They reduce the amount of movement of the stock dogbone/pendulum mount, making your shifts more direct and your drive-line more rigid.
Audis and Volkswagens with the MQB series engine use a very soft OEM dogbone/pendulum mount on the front sub-frame. This mount is there to prevent the engine from torquing forward and backward. The only problem is, it's too soft. 034Motorsport's solution to this issue is this billet aluminum insert.
Instead of completely replacing the OEM mount, it modifies it slightly by filling the voids, striking the perfect balance of comfort and performance. When daily driving you won't notice any difference; driving aggressively or on track is where this product shines.

I put one of these on my 2015 Skoda Octavia vrs and the difference it made was incredible. When I first got the car whenever I put my foot down there would be loads of knocking, vibration and axle tramp that ruined the traction and killed the acceleration. I'd never experienced anything like it and thought there was something seriously wrong with the car. After a bit of research I found out about these and fitted one and it completely cured it and the acceleration instantly improved. If you have an MQB car this mod is a must.

I have Golf 7.5 GTD, DSG 7 DQ381, When downshifting, mechanical knocking noises are heard. Would this mod help me.

@@danito987 from what you've described it doesn't sound like it. This mod stops the knocking and vibrations during hard acceleration

What about the upper insert? Both should be used.

I'm late to the party but this should be mentioned. I originally just bought the lower before I realized this. You can do some damage without the upper if you only insert the lower.
