My 16 plate R has the honeycomb airbag cover btw! I have a discover pro on mine with MIB 2, does that mean I only need the 8 inch 7.5 screen and VC to get maps to show on VC?

i have done the same thing but only changed the screen and the cockpit.. this way u can display the satnav on both. The car is looking good.. Justing thinking of getting a golf club rear spoiler..you got a link mmb box

I have a 16 plate golf r with mib2 and the pro nav screen.... can i just change the head unit to a mk7.5 discovery pro too... or would i only be able to fit the standard mk7.5 head unit you have fitted?... or can i just fit the standard mk7.5 8" screen without changing the leads... also...would I need to change my CD player in the glove box for the 8" mk7.5 screen?

When you say the dash was coded for a different car are you talking about OBD 11? If so, is it pretty straightforward to "code" a new dash for the car by using an OBDeleven tool?

Nice vid, need some advice though i have a 65 golf r running mib2, previous owner had the carplay,aa,mirrorlink unlocked i bought a ottocast media box, same thing as the mmb, but when i plug it in it keeps saying reading usb, usb error. Dont suppose you know why or what it could be. Cheers bro

Also, your man done the coding would he know about the vw crafter revercing camera. I've bought an after market camera and the correct cables to connect to the big head unit like the one you have here because that's in my van. But the guy said I need to possibly get it coded ot tell the head unit a camera has now been installed. Or will it just work. I've not installed it yet because I've only just picked the van up. Cheers for any advice.

Hi mate! It will work if it’s a mk7 model yes. You might need a gps antenna extra on a 2013 model but it’s only around £25 extra from us for that
