What year and model is your GTI? Is it an autobahn? Im looking at the Deautokey website and its a little confusing. Seems like these weren't meant for MK7s that have auto headlight feature without OEM LEDs.

The silver resistans do they not get to hot? I puted the same ones on my car but it got really hot. Kind od scared thst they dont melt the bumper 😂

The company that makes these say they shouldn't get hot enough to cause any damage. They've been on this long and everything is still fine this far so fingers crossed lol.

If your gti have auto headlights button is that gonna be a problem?

Mine had auto headlights. Wasn't an issue.

Hello i'm about to instal this because my actual plate light doesn't work, i also have a message on my dashboard to check it. when replacing both light how can i remove the message please?

These bulbs shouldn't cause any errors. If they do, please contact the manufacturer.

So uhm, I recently bought a MK7 that didn't have plate lights. So I found this video and checked the link. There's 2 different plug and play lights on their site, which one do I pick? They said they don't remove the error code if you have auto lights (which mine does)

My car had Auto Lights, and I used the kind that had the resistor box attached to the wiring and it worked fine for me.
