Really clever of ford to use a 'chip' for the DRL than integrating a LED strip inside the headlights. Saves the hassle of opening up the headlights as the chip is external.

They've been using it in the Transit for a while now and I presume the same for the Mk 4 Focus. It'll make repairs a lot easier/cheaper.

Just a quick question, I’m looking to buy an ST diffuser from PumaSpeed for my MK.7 black edition and just wondering if it’s a straight flush fit all round? I had a TRC one but TRC told my that I have to cut plastic parts away from underneath my car for it to fit properly and I don’t want to have to do this with the ST one. Also do you know if the PumaSpeed kit comes with screws to secure the diffuser? Cheers

Yeah I went ST2 without - I have the mondeo Vignale and when you have the LEDs in that they are leagues above the ones in the fiesta so I’ve just upgraded the bulbs. All there needs to be is a port into the DRL that receives the connection from the indicator and then the circuitry would detect when indicators are on and trigger a program to either flash, sweep etc the indicator. They could do it yesterday...

The old bill - will have a field day with this. Multi coloured lights that flash - that can be set to BLUE....no chance.....ull be pulled for imitating the police. Besides - what purpose really do they serve ?? They light up feck all even when its dark. Suppose though if people want to have the front of their cars, lit like a out Christmas Tree........then go for it. But why stop there??? some lights draped over the bonnet - would be nice........n maybe a set of Xmas tree LEDs lights, on the roof, that would compliment the overall look..... No - sorry guys.......PANTS !!!!! Move on !!!
