Is this the maxton v2 diffuser? Did it fit easy? I heard newer MK8s are missing a part where the diffuser has to be screwed to the car.

Thats correct, but the brackets are supplied that counter this issue :)

As I see it, one strut is enough? Easier to close than also

The one strut does aid in opening the boot but is only successful some of the time and will fail prematurely

Does a single click on the remote just unlock the boot and then the double click will allow the Emerald Strut to fully open or is the only boot option to double click?

The difference is if you have an upgraded spoiler on your car you need high pressure. If you have a stock spoiler low pressure is all you need

One thing to be careful is that when it fully opens automatically it doesn’t hit something up high 😂

I’ve done this upgrade and after a week, I still HATE how hard it is to close, without touching the paint. So far, not a fan. As for “are they going to damage my car…no”… how the hell would you know, Mr “I don’t speak for Ford’s Warranty”. I’ll give them a month or two, then change them back. IMO, It’s not a good mod, unless the struts you fit can also close the boot.

Hi - in terms of damaging the car this was purely a reference to bending the joints that they attach to. I think the statement can be taken too seriously
