Do you think a GPF Back would be more reasonable? I saw a comment where you said that sometimes it's too loud. I'm buying that car next month and i would like to have a sport setting with some nice sound to enjoy on some twisty roads or at car events, but i'd like to still be able to use the car on longer trips without ending with an headache

Hey buddy, in the beginning I didn’t think it was too loud, now a year later I’m on the fence 😂 no longer have the ability to put the foot down at all without a redic amount of noise and attention. Cold start is extremely loud - to the point where it will vibrate the doors and windows in your house lol but once that’s over it’s fine! There’s no drone when driving sensibly and in the correct gear, however if you are trying to limp around town in 5/6th yeah there is a lot it - hope that helps

@@kd2833 yeah still have them. Tbh not worried about the noise atm but they will go back in at some point ☺️ you may be right about 4%, and although that sounds small the car feels completely different - and I like how it feels

Kacper Ch it’s my daily, and honestly I’ve no problem with it! Cold start is loud, so in a built up area it may be an issue - but driving sensibly it’s really not much louder

Have you ever had vibration problem with your exhaust valve? I have decat, gpf non res, and gpf back milltek and i have a borin vibration noise form my valve :(((

For me it doesn’t, but it does for others - think it depends on the build date of your car. Mine is early 2019

Hey, yes both those part numbers are correct! The GPF back exhaust is SSXFD257

Painau Chocolate I went stage 1 first and did the exhaust mods after, went GPF back system first and did notice a difference, not huge but noticeable. Then did decat and gpf delete together and definitely noticed a lot more from that! Car feels like it’s not being held back anymore - it’s hard to describe as I didn’t feel like it was being held back before hand, but in retrospect you definitely feel it

I have the mk8.5 with revo stage 1 and ordered a scorpion downpipe only, should i get a GPF delete aswell (is it needed?) & its being fitted this wednesday however i feel like its not going to be as loud as i think just the decat alone.

Keeping the stock back box? It should be fine. I’ve heard a lot of configurations - downpipe with/without gpf delete and stock exhaust is louder but not obnoxious. Both with an aftermarket exhaust will rattle the windows of your house when it starts 😂

How is it with the valve closed ive noticed mines like flutters and makes a fucking horrible weird noise when crusing at 70 with it closed duno if somthing just needs tightened or what ever had this?
