With the at home flash kit, are there any options to read and clear DTC? Also, what about configuring things like auto start/stop to be permanently disabled?

Start/Stop is not fully disabled, though it does have a memory functionality now.

Can you run the e85 tune as is in a full road course 20 minute track day session? Have you done thermal testing in such a use case? What cooling upgrades would you say are necessary for Mk8 to withstand track day use?

It absolutely can! Our software has been tested extensively on track in the most extreme conditions to ensure the most optimized experience. An upgraded intake and intercooler are what we recommend for your use application.

@@034motorsport seriously? So the MK8 with your tune, intake and intercooler can run 20 minutes in 90 degree tropical weather without overheaeting or going limp?? 😲

@@albertoramos-izquierdo9438 the engine system in the GTI has thermal limits based on physics, heat in the motor is managed by the factory ECU and our calibration using load levels and the factory cooling system, the factory ECU will lower load and boost to keep coolant and air temps w/in a safe range. Correct, the car will not overheat or go into limp mode.

Hi there sorry to worry you can i ask why do some mk8 gti come with the gen3 engine and is20 turbo? Where as Us and Uk have the new evo4 engine and Garret turbo ? Are vw trying to get rid of all their old stock of engines ? And is it possible they will start fitting the new evo in them ?

We cannot say exactly why VW would do this, we would only be guessing. It’s not that uncommon however and doubtful they’re trying to get rid of old stock, they have very accurate and precise planning tools including inventory and purchasing forecasting

@@034motorsport ok thanks yeah I'm from South Africa and we have the gen3 with is20 but it is mated to the DQ381 7 speed box which is and upgrade and I'm not sure if the fueling is also different but I'm quite disappointed they never get the evo4 which is much more capable when you want modify it but overall the interior/exterior/handling is a great upgrade over its 7.5gti brother.

We don't have an ETA at this time, but we plan to develop tunes for the B9/B9.5 2.0T in the future.

Some late model 2022-2023 vehicles are equipped with a TCU Box Code version that we do not currently have support for. @@034motorsport Question... and perhaps I missed it or misunderstood, but is there increased clutch pressure in the stage 1 TCU or just raising the max tq threshold? Put this under the R, since that is relevant to my interests.

How much HP and Torque can a stock DSG in the mk8 handle?

The DQ381 DSG is proving to reliably withstand significant hp and torque over stock. As we continue to develop we will keep seeing what it can hold, but we are confident it will hold upwards of 500tq without issue

I only run 93 Exxon gas in everything I own, I don't race at all but like max torque and HP when needed. I changed the turbo inlet , hose and added a k$n panel filter and 034 res delete for that extra growl. Can I go with the 93 tune without changing anything else?

@Kris K Iam not sure which tune is best for everyday driving. Iam also looking at gas mileage, Iam averaging over 30 mpg in 3400 miles of buying the car new back in September. Car was made in May but took months to get to WV, so I don't know much about getting those TCU codes
