A couple of weeks ago my mate paid nearly 20 grand for a RRover velar with the ingemium engine he picked it up on a Saturday when he told me what he was buying I told him to forget it, but he continued so the next day a Sunday when he went out to go out in it, it never stopped belching out blue smoke. So sadly it went back to the dealers and they gave him his old car back. But it's on sale at these dealers now awaiting another punter.

@ChopsGarage I check them out mate and put them on watch list, then I buy something else, did it last night, wait with the car, as soon as keys come, get all over it, then run after it as it goes thru, don't forget many are at auction because of faults, no matter what people say. I find a favourite thing are driving problems, knocks, wheel bearings, you know the things you can't check. I prefer Aston barclay at Wakefield tbh, got a mint old fiesta last night, fault free, 400 quid bid, fsh, only an old 03 but what a tidy old car.

I hate the finance pullbacks, clearly they could not afford the car in the first place, and a lot have not been serviced since they bought them until they were repossessed 😞

Yes, I've had a few and their usually rough, no maintenance at all, maybe handed back due to serious issues, if you can't make the payments your not going to do anything.

If you look at the label on the screen you seem to have missed 3 of the tyres are budget - screams run on a shoestring and reposessed. Lee was bidding on behalf of a fellow dealer who is happy to trade Ingenium engined Range Rovers James. I'd suspect thats why he was running about viewing cars the others weren't interested in - probably commissions to earn

Yeah, but it's an easy way to hide sins. My F-Pace has black powder coated alloys, but the previous owner ordered it with full chrome, then had the wheels done, so it actually looks good and not full plastic....

People are clued up now with halves and thirds. When serious issues with high end cars they are handed back… easy way out. No V5 and one key is a trick to the trade. The tell tale is any lights on dash. Only true way to get the full picture.

I think you'd do better at (Yorkshire) auction as you can buy stock that totally fits your profile, as opposed to what your offered and feel you have to buy, if you pay good money, you'll have minimum prep, especially paint to do. Choice of 250 cars I'm sure you could get 10 at a time.

@@DanStep-v4k I got no free lunch not even a coffee pal, in fact the last time I visited G3 I sent the staff 60 krispy krems to say thanks for allowing me to film. The idea auction houses are paying us to visit is for the birds. I went to buy stock and bought 4 from G3 that day

@@carukchannel thanks for the sensible reply. I guess as a viewer its just a strange coincidence about 10 channels suddenly descended on Castleford's G3 auctions to film content. Matt did them no favours like, about 9/10 cars he filmed he pointed out a load of faults and nearly walked away empty handed. Hard to see whats in it for G3. Never heard of your channel but will give it a view. Cheers!
