I already test driven one and I think it's incredibly fun, for the amount of money. I want one in white, I'll lower it, put some HRE FF28S wheels on it, catless downpipe, cold air intake and stage 2 tune it, and call it a day. Best daily driver. I own a mk7.5 1.5T jetta rn.

I don’t have an automatic but my gti mk7.5 has a sport button and even though it’s 6 speed it takes off very quickly it’s actually funny how the suspension and steering and the fake sound works together in my car it’s hard to sell it now 😢 but I want the golf ⛳️ r 😊

It really is funny, I have a manual 40th now and can attest that it definitely does take of and maintain power so much better in sport mode

I came from Mkv when launch control was first introduced. Traction control off (1 botton), hold the brake, press the gas, and it holds the revs , let go of brake and it goes. I feel we have gone too far away from simplicity

Hey bud, Is it able to launch in comfort mode just by pressing brake and accelerator ? Or do you have to be in sports and turn off traction ?

I do believe you have to be in sport mode with traction control disabled.

@@philip5798 depends on how long the light is I guess haha but it’s pretty quick to swap it into sport as well which in my opinion you have just as much of a chance with the car being FWD and tuned I spin through first and into second

Yes it’s got to be completely depressed once you launch you can modulate throttle to help maintain traction!
