We're reaping what we sowed and it will only get worse. Those who complain about the decadence are often shouted down and so the circle keeps turning.

Thanks for your concern. You did well. But I am of the opinion that our movie industry (Nollywood) be cautioned. Making movie showcasing money rituals and deadly cults making money (Ibute ike) and quick one too is not helping. Movies showing how you make it only when you travel to the city, is encouraging mass exodus of our YOUTHS. The industry needs caution. If they can't make educating videos, teaching morals they better wind up. Finally I believe we should work very hard on the actualization of Biafra. Since in Nigeria lies no HOPE. We need to engage our youths. Gainful employment will help too. But most importantly ENTREPRENEURSHIP, financial independence. We can't do more without POWER SUPPLY. That should be the bed rock.

Ezeudo, you spoke well. We see the degeneration of our value systems in Igboland. We know them. However, the major problem is the SOLUTION.What are the specific things to do by who and within what timelines. This call to action is wonderful. How do we take this and run with it?

I believe the conversations have started. If you are having an event in Igboland, don’t only place those moneybags on the ‘high table’, also honour those professionals who have achieved. Concerning food, the practical thing to do is to plant what our children will eat tomorrow, the same way we are eating today what our parents planted yesterday.

I completely agree with everything you said, but shouldn’t the fact that educated people find it hard to get jobs or get paid such as resident doctors in Nigeria be addressed? It is hard to demonstrate the value of education when many see educated people starving.

We can not take away government action and inaction. Inability of government to discharge it's duty to the people. Security has worsen, the educational institutions is the worst in Nigeria right now, embezzlement of fund meant for development, insecurity. The list is endless. Our government have sown the seed that we are seeing it's fruits now.

Sadly, religion in Nigeria has become so immoral!!! Every 6 feet there is an evangelical church and this is the new business across the country. People are being suckered and hypnotised by the new business of extorting money from people in the name of tithes called the Church. I am really against this model and prefer that women stand up and take charge of their communities with a look at going back to basics such as the eloquent speaker mentions, backyard gardens, calling our youth to attention and encouraging the spirit of Education. “Knowledge is Power” and even if you are discriminated against, knowledge is something that can never be taken from you. Your wealth and assets may disappear in a moment, but the seeds of knowledge in your brain can revolutionise a nation.

This is pure Engligbo which is the main problem of the Igbo language. Can't you speak straight Igbo?
